Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force GX Opens Dual Academy Enrollment Next Year
Konami has announced the remake of Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force 3, Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force GX, packaged with modern visuals and enhanced dueling.
Tag Force GX puts you in the final year of Duel Academy where you can select your very own partner of upwards of 100 visually revamped characters. If you needed something to scratch that nostalgic itch, this remake of this late 2000s PSP exclusive might hit the spot.
The game will feature not just the cards seen in Tag Force 3, but also tacking on fan-favorite cards, bringing the total up from 3,501 to 3,800. Yes, you can build a deck. They also have revamped minigames to keep gameplay a touch more varied and if you’re worried about getting lost in terms of the story, Tag Force GX allows you to look back on moments from the original Tag Force and its sequel.
Frankly, considering GX was a huge part of my childhood, it’s nice to see that era of dueling making a return, even though I’ve personally fallen out of the whole Yu-Gi-Oh! scene after GX concluded.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Tag Force GX launches on February 16, 2027.
