Resident Evil Remake Trilogy Is Bringing More Portable Scares To Switch 2 Soon
Highly requested ports of the Resident Evil remake trilogy were just announced to be coming to the Switch 2 at the September 2026 Nintendo Direct, and are dropping very soon.
The three games will be released separately on the Nintendo eShop on October 16, and a physical release is set to arrive later in early 2027, for those who are willing to wait a little longer. Each entry will also include all of its respective DLC with the purchase, what a steal!
With this release, the entire mainline Resident Evil series will be fully accessible on Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, with at least one version of each game in the main continuity having received a Switch or Switch 2 release.
Capcom has been achieving sheer technical wizardry with all of their Switch 2 efforts, and releasing new entries in their key franchises for Switch 2 day-and-date with other major systems, so there’s never been a better time to be a fan of both Resident Evil and Nintendo!
Will you be returning to Raccoon City with the new Switch 2 editions of these games? Or will this be your first time thwarting the Umbrella Corporation’s plans? Let us know in the comments below!
