Pokemon Is Getting The Animal Crossing Treatment

Nintendo and Koei Tecmo are raring to launch Pokemon Pokopia, a cozy life sim where you take the form of a Ditto that transformed itself to look like a human. Oh yeah, it also has a real-time day-night cycle.

Announced during the recent Nintendo Direct, players are tasked with growing and watering grass, terraforming the land, and chilling with a slurry of Pokemon that may help guide you through carving this piece of paradise.

No doubt there’s more to it, though, but right now, info is pretty limited as Pokemon Pokopia plans to release to the Switch 2 sometime in 2026.
