Orbitals Will Offer Global Friend’s Pass

The anime-addled sci-fi Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, Orbitals, is pretty darn accessible thanks to its use of GameShare, but it seems that wasn’t enough, as Shapefarm and Kepler Interactive eye at offering a Global Friend’s Pass.

Over on their official social media, you can see their statement surrounding the feature. It also comes packaged with a free local co-op demo, as well. Here’s the rundown; as long as one player owns a copy of the game and the other has a Switch 2 (as well as Nintendo Switch Online, of course) then you’re golden. For GameShare, though, the second player just needs any Nintendo Switch console.

A Global Friend’s Pass is a very common thing within the co-op exclusive ecosystem. Turning your head just slightly will lead you to games like It Takes Two and Split Fiction as key examples.
