New Nintendo Direct Slated For September, Insider Claims

Nintendo has been pretty Nintendo Direct happy lately since the launch of the Switch 2, so it should come as no surprise that rumors are circulating of a new Direct slated for next month. To add to the expectations, it is pretty common for Nintendo to host one in September.

Switch Force put out the rumor on Twitter, but beyond them, you also have VGC to go off of, with their own sources confirming a new Direct planned for mid-September.

What to expect at the new Direct is unknown, but fans are hoping for a Metroid Prime 4 Beyond release date, which doesn’t sound so out there since Beyond‘s been rated in South Korea. If the date really is September 12, it’s just a day shy of Super Mario Bros.‘ 40th anniversary.
