Legal Ensnared Pocketpair Is Publishing A Game On The Switch
Pocketpair, yes the same company currently caught up in an intense legal battle with Nintendo, is publishing a roguelike Metroidvania to the Nintendo Switch. Now, they aren’t the developer, but it’s still kinda funny seeing it happen.
Announced during the recent State of Play Japan, Frontside 180’s Never Grave: The Witch and the Curse dons a similar style to Hollow Knight. The game itself sees the player control a witch journeying through dungeons, using her cursed cap to fend enemies off alongside her own magical abilities.
Beyond obviously coming to the modern systems, it’s also heading to the Nintendo Switch, which considering the legal battle, is kinda funny. The game is a little ways away, scheduled to launch on March 5, 2026.
