Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Introduces New Progression Options
Newcomers may be glad to hear Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will introduce a new progression stuff to help newcomers out. That said, it’s kinda broken stuff that we can’t imagine will make the game too fun.
According to Square Enix (via Nintendo Life), these optional settings will do things such as maximize your HP, MP, ATB, and Limit Gauge. You can also make it so that you deal 9,999 damage.
These options, as described by Naoki Hamaguchi, is especially effective if you just want to experience the story and is more tailed to those that enjoy content in a more “flexible” way.
I feel that the way people enjoy content has become more flexible these days, as we see with video streaming platforms, and that people also want the same thing from games, with options to tailor the experience based on the time they have and their levels of interest. I have also had personal experiences where I wanted to play something with the limited time I have but gave up because of the time it takes to level up characters or traverse the game.
To be frank, this is basically just modding Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade but without the need for a mod installer. You totally don’t have to turn any of these on, and we assume they’d be off by default.
Are you going to mess around with these new progression settings when Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade hits the Switch 2 on February 22, 2026? Let us know below!
