Doug Bowser Is Retiring

Nintendo of America president and COO, Doug Bowser, is retiring from duty effective 2026.

Bowser shared the news on LinkedIn. In his place, Nintendo’s VP of sales, marketing & communications and Nintendo employee since 2006, Devon Pritchard, steps into the role. Additionally, former Nintendo of Europe president, Satoru Shibata, who will join as their CEO.

Bowser’s departure from Nintendo will be effective December 31, 2025.
