The Mii Fighter Breaks Super Smash Bros. Ultimate On Switch 2

Nintendo is asking fans to refrain from using the Mii Fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate until they can fix compatibility issues between Switch 1 and Switch 2 copies. 

Via OatmealDome, if a player uses a Mii Fighter in an online match where one player is playing on a Switch 2 and another is on the original Switch, the match may end abruptly. 

Nintendo hasn’t shared why this is the case, though, it’s possible there’s some sort of change in custom avatars and how they’re stored.

Regardless, an update is in the pipeline and “will be released soon.”
