Nintendo Warns Switch 2 Users About Hot Weather
Nintendo issued a warning to users who play their Nintendo Switch 2 on the go. They did a similar thing back in 2022 for the original Switch.
On social media (via IGN), Nintendo warned its Japanese users that the platform is meant to be played in temperatures around five to 35 degrees Celsius (95° Fahrenheit). As of late, Japan’s been seeing a rise in heat above the platform’s recommended , so it just made sense to issue the warning.
“When using a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 in a high-temperature environment, the device’s temperature may rise, this could potentially cause malfunctions, so please use it in a location between 5–35°C.”
