Mortal Kombat 1 Is Playable On Switch 2 Despite Being Incompatible

Despite being listed as incompatible, Mortal Kombat 1 is, indeed, playable on the Switch 2 and benefits greatly from the better hardware. Now, granted, you need to own the game on the original Switch first.

Nintendo Life reports that MK1, once you get it downloaded, not only does it look far more clear but it runs “much, much better.” The menus also benefit from the beefier hardware, allowing players to actually not slog through the menus before even getting into a fight. 

Now, it’s not perfect, there are still stutters and said stutters will probably not be as fixed as fans may hope as NetherRealm steps away to focus on their next game.
