Infamous DK Rap Returns, Composer Had No Idea

Nintendo did not inform composer Grant Kirkhope that they would be reviving his infamous Donkey Kong 64 rap track in Donkey Kong Bananza. Of course, Nintendo policies also means he won’t get credited either.

According to Eurogamer, the composer wasn’t aware they would use the track, and based on Nintendo policy surrounding crediting first-party song composers (with a carved exception for Koji Kondo), we likely won’t see Kirkhope’s name in the credits of Donkey Kong Bananza.
