Dying Light: Retouched Isn’t Coming To Switch, No Switch 2 Plans, Either
Despite offering up a solid Dying Light port, Techland is noticeably omitting the Switch from Dying Light: Retouched and has “no plans” for a Switch 2 version.
As confirmed by IGN, Dying Light: Retouched will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, leaving the Switch players in the cold. They also have plans to bring the game to the new Switch, as they focus on development of Dying Light: The Beast, slated to release in August.
“The Dying Light: Retouched Update is not coming to Nintendo Switch […] When it comes to a Switch 2 port of the original Dying Light: We have no plans at this moment. We’re currently fully focused on delivering Dying Light: The Beast on August 22, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. We have no news to share about Nintendo Switch 2 at this time.”
It’s been bad news after bad news for the Switch-bound Dying Light community, as its sequel was also poised to release to the console, but has been delayed back in 2022 with no release in sight.
