The Witcher 3 Remastered Targets Revealed For Nintendo Switch 2

CD Projekt Red is releasing a remaster of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt packaged for modern systems, including the Nintendo Switch 2.

As part of a recent REDstream, CDPR confirmed some details surrounding the performance of said remaster on Nintendo’s platform and it’s about what you’d expect.

For people who want to take the game on the go, you can expect 30 to 40 FPS with VRR enabled at 720p while docked users will get improved resolution at 1080p. Meanwhile, another point for docked users is it’ll be closer to 40 FPS if you’re using a 120hz display.

Beyond targets, CDPR also confirmed mouse and gyro-aiming will be options, which I think is cool as Nintendo definitely needs more third-parties to use the special features of the Switch 2. Similar to Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, players can also set different Motion Patterns.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered is coming September 29.
