Star Fox 64 Spiritual Successor, Wild Blue Skies, Finally Confirmed For Switch Release

While we finally got an actual remake of Star Fox earlier this year, that doesn’t mean we can’t have spiritual successors. Case in point, Wild Blue Skies, a Chuhai Labs and Balor Games made shooter that… well… just look at the trailer and you’ll see exactly how closely they kept their inspirations on their sleeve.

It’s been a public game for some time, but for some reason, they drug their feet in confirming plans for a Nintendo Switch release. The game is poised for a release next week on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, but for Switch users, they’ll have a bit of a wait as the game is confirmed for an Autumn release.

Wild Blue Skies offers branching mission paths and secret routes, four characters with unique personalities, and a “deeply rewarding” system to master.
