Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Was Made By Nintendo Cube

Confirmation has come forward that Nintendo’s Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour was developed by Mario Party developer, Nintendo Cube. Nintendo’s EDP team also helped, though, while also working on their own project.

Nintendo Cube’s website (via Nintendo Everything) showcases Welcome Tour as a game they’ve worked on. Beyond this glorified paid pack-in, the dev is mostly working on Mario Party, with Mario Party Jamboree as their most recent main dev credit. They are releasing the Switch 2 version of the game later this month.

They aren’t only Mario Party, though, as they also had their hands in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete and Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics.
